Servizimalta was formed through a tender requirement by the local health authorities for the services for daily housekeeping and cleaning services at the newly opened Mater Dei Hospital. The tender was awarded in 2008 to a consortium comprising two local companies – Bad Boy Cleaners and Italian Armonia Holdings and works started in November 2008.
Today Servizi Malta is also responsible for the cleaning and Janitorial services of the Luqa International Airport, Malta
